This machine is used to manufacture the slanted pipe section of a pipe sinker. It heats and melts plastic granules and extrudes them through a specific shaped die. With it, we can produce slant pipes of various shapes, sizes and wall thicknesses.

Cutting machines cut continuously extruded pipes to a predetermined length with flat edges. The neatly cut edges reduce the gaps between the inclined pipes, resulting in improved settling efficiency.

Add different raw materials (such as PVC, PP, HDPE, etc.) into the mixing container according to the calculated proportions. This ensures that the extrusion process can be carried out more smoothly and reduce surface defects caused by uneven raw materials.

The proportioned plastic pellets are poured into the extruder and melted by heating. Then, with the push of the screw to extrude them through the mold to form continuous pipes.

The extruded pipes are cut into predetermined lengths by a cutting machine. Then, we use calipers to measure the outer diameter, inner diameter and length of the pipes. Pipes that do not meet the standards should be marked and recycled for reprocessing.

Considerations In Tube Settlers Production

The configuration of the tube settler affects the efficiency of the water treatment project. When making it, we need to consider:

Tube Dimensions

Tube settlers usually have a rectangular or hexagonal cross section. The sizes of these tubes usually vary, ranging from 600 to 1200 mm in diameter.

Inclination And Spacing

The tubes are installed at an inclined angle to facilitate the settling of solids. Common angles for these tubes are between 40 and 60 degrees relative to the horizontal. In addition, the spacing of the tubes affects flow distribution and clogging, with 2.5 cm (1 inch) being a good choice.

Materials

The material of the tube settler must be able to withstand the chemical corrosion and physical impact of the wastewater. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polypropylene (PP) are the most common material choices.

Production Process Control
  • Temperature: It generally ranges from 80 to 300 degrees Celsius. It affects the viscosity and cooling time of the molten plastic.
  • Pressure: Pressure is responsible for controlling the flow rate of the material.
  • Time: The main thing here is the cooling time of the plastic. It determines whether the plastic is properly solidified.
 
First Piece Inspection

After each batch of tube settlers is completed, we conduct quality inspections on them from external defects to internal structural damage and performance indicators.

 
Dynamic Process Monitoring

AQuaSust uses an online monitoring system to extract product samples at high frequency and compare them with the finished product standards to ensure that the produced tube settlers continue to meet the standards.

 
Equipment Operation

We regularly calibrate equipment pressure sensors, temperature controllers, etc. By controlling the parameter deviation within ±0.1%, they follow the instructions and produce pipes with highly uniform length and wall thickness.

 
Finished Product Acceptance

After production is completed, workers conduct a comprehensive inspection of the finished product, including appearance, size, and performance. Then we pack it with shockproof materials and boxes and wait for transportation.
