Moving bed bioreactor is a new type of high-efficiency biofilm sewage treatment device developed on the basis of biological contact oxidation and biological fluidized bed in recent years. In the reactor, the filler can move with the water, and gradually grow a biofilm on its surface, and the microorganisms on the biofilm use the organic substances in the sewage for metabolism, so as to achieve the purpose of removing organic pollutants in the water. Moving bed bioreactors can be operated in either aerobic or anaerobic environments. In aerobic moving bed bioreactors, the movement of the packing is mainly by aeration, while in anoxic and anaerobic environments, the movement of the packing is carried out by mechanical agitation or by the biogas produced by anaerobic.
